Educational content disclaimer

What our free lessons can and cannot promise, in plain words.

The lessons, guides and tools on this site are general educational material. This page explains their limits so you can use them with the right expectations.

Who is behind this site?

SPM Tuition is an independent online tuition service. It is not part of, endorsed by or acting for the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM), Lembaga Peperiksaan or any school.

Names such as SPM, KSSM and the subject titles are used only to describe the exam the lessons prepare for.

Where should you confirm official exam information?

Exam formats, dates, fees, registration and rules are set by the authorities and can change. Always confirm the current details with Lembaga Peperiksaan and your school before you plan around them.

Where a page describes an exam, it points you back to those sources. See checking SPM subject requirements for how to do this step by step.

What do the worked examples show?

Worked examples and practice questions are original and chosen to show a method. The numbers, names and situations are made up, and none is a real student, a past-year paper or a prediction of what will be asked.

Use them to see how reasoning is built, then practise on your school’s materials and official papers.

Does the site promise results?

No grade is promised. How a student performs depends on the effort put in, the paper and the day. Lessons and resources aim to build understanding and exam technique, and the outcome stays with the student.

The same applies to the 9,000+ students helped through the service: it describes what we have done, not what any one student will achieve. The one-hour trial class (from RM50) is a real lesson and a fair way to judge fit.

How do the study tools work?

The study tools run in your browser and give guidance based on what you enter. They are aids for planning and practice, not official calculations or advice, and the answers stay on your device.

What if you find an error?

Tell us which page and which line looks wrong, as explained in accessibility and reporting a content problem. The use of the site is covered by the terms, and you can reach the team through the contact page.

Common questions

Is SPM Tuition connected to KPM or Lembaga Peperiksaan?

No. SPM Tuition is an independent online tuition service. It is not part of the Ministry of Education or Lembaga Peperiksaan, and nothing here is an official statement from either.

Can a lesson guarantee a grade?

No teacher can promise a particular grade, because results depend on the student's work and on the paper. Lessons aim to build understanding and exam technique, and the outcome stays with the student.

Where do I check the real exam format and dates?

Check Lembaga Peperiksaan at lp.moe.gov.my, and your school, for the current format, dates and registration rules. These can change between years.

Are the worked examples from real papers?

The worked examples and practice questions are original and written to illustrate a method. They are not past-year questions or predictions of what will appear.

If a page still leaves you unsure how an idea applies to your child's paper, a teacher can work through it with them in a one-hour trial class (from RM50).

  • Online one-to-one lessons for your child with an experienced teacher.
  • Your first class is a one-hour trial, from RM50. The fee is agreed before you book.
  • Happy with the teacher? Continue with lessons of about 1.5 hours. If not, ask for another teacher.
