Our online one-to-one SPM Pengajian Kejuruteraan Awam tuition gives each student an experienced teacher assigned to them, with lessons built on the diagrams and calculations the student finds hardest. The first class is a one-hour trial class (from RM50), with the fee agreed before it starts.

Who does this tuition help?

This subject mixes drawings, materials, structures and short calculations, so marks are lost in different places for different students.

  • Reading a technical diagram. The student cannot tell which labelled part does what.
  • Explaining a principle. The answer names a part but does not say why it is needed.
  • Calculations with units. The method is right, but the answer has no unit or the wrong one.

A student balancing school with sport or part-time work can use lessons to revisit a single topic at a time instead of a full syllabus review.

What does a lesson look like?

Here is an original classroom example for concrete mixing, written for practice.

A concrete mix uses cement, sand and aggregate in the ratio 1 : 2 : 4 by volume. A builder prepares 14 buckets of dry mix. What number of buckets of each material are needed?

The teacher first asks the student to say what the ratio means. The parts add up to 1 + 2 + 4 = 7 parts. Each part is 14 ÷ 7 = 2 buckets.

Material Parts Buckets
Cement 1 2
Sand 2 4
Aggregate 4 8

Check: 2 + 4 + 8 = 14 buckets. The teacher then asks why cement is the smallest share and what the aggregate does, so the student explains the principle and not only the arithmetic.

What can online lessons do, and what stays at school?

Online lessons cover diagram reading, planning an explanation, unit checks and feedback on written answers. The teacher can ask you to sketch on paper and talk through it.

Hands-on site or workshop work, tools and anything assessed in a practical setting belong to your school. The teacher does not do assessed tasks for you and cannot promise a grade.

How does starting work?

Give your form and the Civil Engineering topic that worries you, such as structures, drawings or site calculations. Say if you want the explanations in English or Bahasa Malaysia.

The trial lesson agenda builder helps you choose what to bring. For a wider view of how we teach, read how online one-to-one tuition works or the overview of SPM tuition.

Common questions

Can the teacher help with workshop or site practical work?

The teacher explains the principles behind practical tasks and helps you plan and describe them in writing. Hands-on work and anything assessed in the workshop is done by you at school.

Is this suitable if I am weak in Mathematics?

Yes. Most calculations in this subject need ratios, areas and unit conversion. The teacher can start with those basics and link them to the civil engineering question.

Do you teach from my school's notes?

The teacher can follow your school's topic order and work from the questions you bring. You agree the focus after the trial.

How much does tuition cost?

The first class is a one-hour trial (from RM50). The fee is agreed with you before the trial at the teacher's hourly rate, and lessons are usually about 1.5 hours, with the schedule agreed with your teacher.

If you understand a diagram when the teacher explains it but cannot write the same explanation alone, one-to-one lessons practise that gap. Send us the topic that feels hardest. Parents usually arrange the trial.
