Our online one-to-one SPM Turath Dirasat Islamiah tuition gives you an experienced teacher who helps you distinguish related concepts in a prescribed text and organise textual evidence into a focused answer. The first class is a one-hour trial class (from RM50).

Who this tuition helps

This subject is built on set texts, so the trouble is usually in how you use them.

  • Close concepts. Two terms sound alike and the answer blends their meanings.
  • Evidence without order. Good quotations are listed in the order they appear in the text, not the order the question needs.
  • Answers that drift. The response explains the whole topic when the question asked about one part.

A teacher reading your draft can see where the drift starts and show you a tighter order.

What a lesson looks like: two terms, one organised answer

This is an original teaching example. Your textbook’s wording governs in the exam.

Question style: “Distinguish a sahih hadith from a hasan hadith.”

The teacher asks the student to place both terms in one table before writing anything.

Feature Sahih Hasan
Chain connected Yes Yes
Narrators upright Yes Yes
Narrators’ accuracy Complete Slightly lower
Free of hidden defect Yes Yes

The table shows that the two share most conditions and differ in one. The answer then follows a fixed order: define sahih, define hasan, state the single difference, give a short example from the text.

A weak answer recites the definitions separately with no comparison. A strong one names the difference in a sentence, because a question using “distinguish” asks for exactly that.

Build the habit with distinguishing related concepts in a prescribed text and organising textual evidence for a focused explanatory answer.

What online lessons can and cannot do

Lessons suit reading the prescribed text, comparing concepts, arranging evidence, answer structure and exam timing. You and the teacher can read the same line together.

Personal rulings and religious guidance outside the syllabus belong with qualified authorities. School-arranged religious activities remain at school.

Does a one-to-one lesson replace reading the text myself?

No. The lesson shows you how to handle the text, but the reading is yours. If you have read the passage once before the lesson, the teacher can spend the hour on using evidence instead of first-time reading.

How starting works

Message us on WhatsApp with your form and the text or topic you are working on. We assign an experienced teacher and agree the fee with you before the one-hour trial class (from RM50). After the trial you decide whether the teacher is a good fit, and you can ask for another teacher if not.

The trial lesson agenda builder helps you choose a question to bring. See how our online tuition works for the next steps.

Common questions

What does the teacher do with my prescribed text?

The teacher reads it with you, pauses at the key terms, and helps you pull out the evidence a question needs. Then you rebuild the answer yourself while the teacher checks the order.

Can the teacher answer personal religious questions?

Lessons explain the prescribed content for exam purposes. Personal and family matters belong with a qualified religious authority, and the teacher will direct you there.

I memorise well but answers lose marks. Why?

Marks depend on organisation: defining the concept, presenting the evidence and explaining how it answers the question. Lessons practise that order on new questions.

What do lessons cost after the trial?

The first class is a one-hour trial from RM50. The rate depends on the teacher and is the same hourly rate as that teacher's normal classes, and the fee is agreed before the trial. Lessons are usually about 1.5 hours per class.

Which language are lessons taught in?

Lessons are in English or BM, depending on the subject, and the teacher explains clearly in whichever suits the student. Arabic or Malay terms stay as your paper uses them.

If you know where the evidence is but your answers feel disorganised, a one-to-one lesson can practise arranging it. Tell us your form and the text you are studying. Parents usually arrange the trial.
