Our online one-to-one SPM Al-Syariah tuition gives each student an experienced teacher assigned to them, with lessons that help the student organise syllabus concepts clearly for the exam. The first class is a one-hour trial (from RM50).

Who does this tuition help?

Students seek help in this subject for three reasons.

  • Terms that blur. Two similar terms are confused, such as a rule that is recommended and one that is required.
  • Memory without structure. The student can recite definitions but cannot arrange them into a clear answer.
  • Using the source. A question gives a text or a scenario, and the answer repeats the definition without applying it.

The teacher works on organising and explaining the syllabus content. Lessons are study support for the subject, not a source of personal rulings.

What does a lesson look like: sorting the five categories?

Here is a worked example from the concept of hukum taklifi. The teacher gives the student five headings and asks them to sort scenarios by what happens if the act is done and what happens if it is left.

Category If done If left
Wajib Rewarded Sinful
Sunat Rewarded Not sinful
Harus Neither Neither
Makruh Not sinful Rewarded if avoided
Haram Sinful Rewarded if avoided

A common mistake is treating makruh as haram, because both discourage an act. The table shows the difference: leaving a makruh act is rewarded, but doing it is not sinful.

The student then sorts new examples from the syllabus and explains each choice in one sentence. The habit is to use the two-question test, done and left, instead of guessing from how strict the term sounds.

What can and cannot online lessons do?

Lessons can organise concepts, explain terms and give feedback on written answers. They work best when the student brings the syllabus texts and questions that lost marks.

They do not give personal religious rulings, and the school sets what it teaches and how it assesses. Confirm current syllabus details with your school and on the Lembaga Peperiksaan website.

How does starting work?

Mention your form and which part of Al-Syariah feels hardest, such as fiqh rulings, usul or worship. Add the language you want the teacher to explain in, Bahasa Melayu or Arabic terms with Malay explanation.

Common questions

Will the teacher give personal religious rulings?

No. Lessons help you understand and organise the concepts in the syllabus for the exam. Personal questions about your own situation belong with a qualified religious teacher, your school's religious teacher or the relevant religious authority.

Which parts of Al-Syariah can be taught online?

Organising concepts, explaining terms, reading texts and writing structured answers work well online. The school decides what it teaches, how it assesses and when, and those arrangements stay with the school.

How much does tuition cost?

The first class is a one-hour trial (from RM50), and the fee is agreed before it starts. Lessons are usually about 1.5 hours, and you and the teacher agree the schedule.

Can lessons be in Bahasa Melayu?

Lessons are in English or Bahasa Melayu, depending on the subject, and the teacher explains clearly in whichever suits the student. Tell us your preference when you enquire. Arabic terms are used as the syllabus uses them, and exam answers follow the paper's language.

If the terms make sense one by one but blur in an answer, bring a question that lost marks. A one-to-one lesson can practise sorting and explaining them. Parents usually arrange the trial.
