Teacher preparing paper notes for remote SPM lessons

You have taught SPM before and want to teach students one-to-one, online, from where you live.

SPM Tuition is a team of teachers giving online one-to-one lessons for SPM students across Malaysia. This section is for experienced teachers who would like to introduce themselves.

What the teaching looks like

Every lesson is online and one-to-one. A teacher starts from what the student can already do, works through the questions that student finds hard, and explains until the student can do a similar question alone.

There is no classroom to manage. The work is listening to one student’s reasoning and changing your next explanation to fit it.

Who this suits

  • Teachers who enjoy diagnosing where one student’s understanding breaks down.
  • Teachers comfortable explaining on a screen, with clear written working.
  • Teachers who know the SPM syllabus for their subject and its question styles.

You can teach from home, and you need a stable connection and a quiet place. The online teaching readiness page lists the practical points to check.
