Pendidikan Islam recall planner

You have pages of Pendidikan Islam notes but no way to tell what you can actually recall.

This planner turns your Pendidikan Islam revision into recall cards and a simple study queue. You try to remember first, then show the answer and mark how it went.

Everything you enter stays on this device.

It helps students who keep rereading notes but cannot tell what they really remember.

How do I use it?

  1. Read the prompt on a card and try to answer from memory.
  2. Press Show answer, then press I recalled it or Review again.
  3. Watch the queue reorder: cards to review come first, then new cards, then recalled ones.
  4. Add your own cards from your textbook using the prompt and answer boxes. Copy the wording exactly as your book has it.
  5. Enter the days you have and the minutes per day, then press Make plan.

How does the tool work?

The eleven built-in cards cover the five pillars of Islam and the six pillars of faith, in plain Malay terms with no Arabic script.

The plan assumes about 2 minutes per card. Cards per day is minutes divided by 2, rounded down. Times seen is days multiplied by cards per day, divided by the number of cards, rounded down.

The tool rejects days outside 1 to 120 and minutes outside 4 to 180, and it asks you to add cards before planning if there are none.

What does a worked example look like?

With 11 cards, 14 days and 20 minutes a day, you can cover 10 cards a day. Over 14 days that is 140 card views, so each card is seen about 12 times.

If you mark the third pillar as Review again, it moves to the top of the queue. After you mark it as recalled, it moves to the bottom.

What can the tool not do?

It cannot check spelling, translation or Arabic text, and it does not review the cards you add. A wrong card typed in will be practised as typed, so copy carefully and confirm with your teacher.

It does not assess recitation or give any religious ruling. Reading practice and meaning need a qualified teacher.

Where does this fit in Pendidikan Islam?

Start at the Pendidikan Islam overview, then open Form 4 or Form 5 for your year. To plan revision with careful terminology, read planning Pendidikan Islam revision with accurate terminology.

For passages, see checking prescribed passages and transliteration limits and organising evidence for an exam response. Reading practice is covered in planning accurate reading practice with a qualified teacher.

To work with a teacher, see Pendidikan Islam tuition. The one-hour trial class (from RM50) is a real taught lesson.

Common questions

Does this tool give religious rulings?

No. It is a revision aid for recall. It gives no rulings and answers no personal questions about practice. Ask a qualified teacher or religious authority for those.

Why are there only eleven built-in cards?

They cover the pillars of Islam and the pillars of faith, which are widely taught basics. Anything needing exact Arabic wording is left out, so use your own cards copied from your textbook for the rest.

Does it check my Quran reading?

No. The tool does not play, show or assess recitation. Reading practice needs a qualified teacher who can listen to you.

Are my cards saved?

Your cards and marks stay on this device only while the page is open. They are lost when you close it, and nothing is uploaded.

For the parts that need a qualified teacher, such as accurate reading and the meaning of passages, a one-to-one Pendidikan Islam lesson lets your teacher check your understanding directly.

  • Online one-to-one lessons for your child with an experienced teacher.
  • Your first class is a one-hour trial, from RM50. The fee is agreed before you book.
  • Happy with the teacher? Continue with lessons of about 1.5 hours. If not, ask for another teacher.
