Online one-to-one SPM Pendidikan Islam tuition

Your child studied the content, yet answers still miss the evidence or the explanation.

Find your child's Pendidikan Islam teacher9,000+ students helped through our service

Our online one-to-one SPM Pendidikan Islam tuition gives each student an experienced teacher assigned to them, with lessons built around the answers that student writes. The first class is a one-hour trial class from RM50, with the fee agreed before it starts.

Who this tuition helps

A family usually wants help with recall and answer quality, and three situations stand out.

  • Facts without order. The student has read the content but cannot retrieve it in a clear sequence under time pressure.
  • Sources named, not used. The answer cites a verse or hadith but does not say how it supports the point.
  • Thin explanations. The answer states the concept and stops before explaining why it matters.

A one-to-one teacher can read each answer with the student and show which part is missing.

What a lesson looks like: concept, evidence, explanation

This is a worked example of how a teacher separates the parts. The actual source comes from the prescribed textbook.

Question pattern: Explain the importance of honesty in a student’s life.

The teacher asks the student to write three labelled sentences instead of one paragraph.

Part Student writes Teacher checks
Concept Honesty means speaking and acting truthfully Is the definition accurate and in the student’s words?
Evidence The source named in the textbook, with its reference Is the source correct and does it relate to the concept?
Explanation How the source supports the point, with a school example Does the example truly match the concept?

The evidence line is where marks vanish for most students in this position. The teacher models one answer, then the student writes another on a different concept.

After two rounds, the student merges the three sentences into a paragraph. The structure stays visible to the marker, and to the student.

What one-to-one lessons can and cannot do

Lessons can organise recall, teach answer structure and give feedback on written explanations. They work best when the student brings answers that lost marks.

Recitation and other school-assessed components stay at school. Lessons follow the curriculum, and personal religious guidance stays with the student’s own ustaz or ustazah.

Common questions

Is the teaching aligned with the exam subject?

Lessons follow the SPM Pendidikan Islam curriculum and the prescribed textbook. The teacher works from what the exam asks and does not substitute personal opinions.

Will the teacher give personal religious rulings?

No. Personal religious questions belong with the student's own ustaz or ustazah or a qualified authority, and the teacher will say so courteously. Lessons stay within the curriculum.

How much does the tuition cost?

The first class is a one-hour trial from RM50, charged at the same hourly rate as that teacher's normal classes. The rate depends on the teacher, and the fee is agreed before the trial. Lessons are usually about 1.5 hours per class, and the schedule is agreed with the teacher.

Which language are lessons taught in?

Lessons are in English or Bahasa Melayu, depending on the subject, and the teacher explains clearly in whichever suits the student. Tell us your preference when you enquire. Exam answers stay in the language the student writes the paper in.

What if my child already recites well but writes poorly?

Recitation and any component assessed by the school stay at school. Lessons focus on recall, evidence and written explanation, which is where many students lose marks.

If the content is learned but marks fall on evidence and explanation, a teacher can check each part of your answer with you until it is clear. Tell us the form and the area. Parents usually arrange the trial.
